Laser Hair Regrowth - Does it Really Work?
With the new technologies emerging on every field of our life, it is no wonder that laser has been discovered to work as a treatment for hair regrowth. But the question is: does it really work? Although it is a quite expensive method, many people who suffer from hair loss and watch desperately how their hair is falling menacing with the danger of getting the head to complete baldness, laser treatment is really at a great demand. Individuals are capable to do whatever it takes in order to get back to their hair, even if that would cost them big amounts of money.
There are people who have tried almost everything before reaching the conclusion that a laser therapy is their last straw to cling on; they have approached all sorts of remedies, they have taken the minerals and vitamins indicated in such situations, but it seemed that nothing worked. This is why they have ended up taking into account the possibility of having their head "lasered" in order to get their hair back in its natural shape. Laser therapy is known to take place o different levels.
The first level is the one called Low Level Laser Therapy, also acronymed under LLLT, which is added to the natural methods of the hair regrowth. The principle under which this LLLT functions is that it takes into account the malnutrition of the hair follicles and as such the process of the hair thinning and/or losing.
What this LLLT does is to stimulate the surface of the scalp into enabling it to get the hair follicles the needed nutrition and as such stopping the hair from falling. In case this therapy is performed on areas that have lost hairs less than five years ago, then the procedure is meant to give even better results in that it can revive the hair follicles which are dormant.
The best places where this procedure is performed are the ones occupied by specialized technicians who hold laser equipment as well as specific authorization on behalf of FDA or another governmental authority.
Some other way of getting your scalp "lasered" is said to be the use of home lasers. The reason they are called 'lasers' is still un-known considering that they do not work as a proper laser (with a penetration of the scalp down to 5mm depth), but only turn the LED on, this extent is in fact the longer the go to. So this method is not at all recommended as being one of the unfortunate sham products issued on the market.
Well, after reading all these, the inherent question is most likely to be raised: does this laser therapy works? The answer is that statistically it has been proven that to some patients, the loss of hair stopped while to others it even started to stimulate the hair regrowth. But a sure fact is that this therapy works even better when is combined with various cures, such as specific drugs and natural remedies.
